When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
What goes around comes around! My bride Emily met my wife Jaime several years back, when she was in beauty school, and Jaime would get her hair done. They developed a friendship and kept in touch via social media since. When Emily got engaged, she reached out and the rest is history! I am so honored to have worked with this incredible couple, whose love SHINES THROUGH
What was your inspiration behind your Pittsburgh Hotel Ballroom Wedding?
MARRIAGE! I had no real inspiration other than my excitement for marrying Austin. Him and I coordinated what we love together- which is throwing parties. We didn’t care what it looked like, only that it was an awesome time for everyone.
Advice to share with brides planning now?
Take all the time you need in the very beginning of planning to pick vendors you know will deliver. When I had concerns or stressors, I couldn’t count on my event staff at my venue. I leaned on my vendors (Dray included!) for help and they were amazing. Day of, my event coordinator was nowhere to be found- but it didn’t matter because Dray, my officiant, and my DJ carried the show.
How did you and your spouse meet?
Online video game!
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
One of our favorite (and first) date night is going to baseball games. We typically go to a couple per month. Austin planned a fake tour of PNC park during COVID because he knew I missed going to baseball games. There was never a tour! He walked us to where we sat on our first date and proposed. It was the best.
What was your favorite memory from Pittsburgh Hotel Ballroom Wedding?
Oh, how can I choose!!! The entire day was my favorite day!!! Any time I am laughing with Austin is my favorite memory. The ceremony was perfectly us. Austin picked all the music for it so it made it extra special. Maybe when my sister and his brothers gave their speeches! I loved that. Also dancing with Austin is always a treat. The man’s got rhythm. I can’t decide. I loved it all.
