When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
This couple held one of the most special and intimate weddings I’ve had the pleasure of photographing! The Morning Glory Inn is the PERFECT venue for those wanting something not-too-big, outdoors and offers the illusion of a secret garden. I loved the meaningful vows they exchanged in the courtyard and the hors devours reception accompanied by strong lights and soft music. These two have a sweet sense of humor and compliment each other so well. Just being around them you feel better about the world. Congrats Lindsey and David! It was my honor and pleasure to work with you at your Morning Glory Inn Wedding!

How did you and your spouse meet?
We like to tell people that we met when David pulled me over and I got out of a ticket by agreeing to go on a date with him, but we actually met on a dating app…Bumble! Good thing we both swiped right! 😉
Advice to share with brides planning now?
My heart goes out to any bride planning a wedding during these crazy times. We had a short 10 month engagement but our planning went so smooth and all of our vendors were booked within the first two months. We thought we were prepared for everything- but then COVID came! COVID turned all of our plans upside down, but we rolled with it. Our day didn’t turn out exactly as planned since we had to cut our guest list in half, but it was still an amazing day with our bridal party and families. Don’t stress about the little things-all the little details that I spent so much time worrying about weren’t what mattered that day. What mattered most was that we were able to get married with out families and closest friends surrounding us at our Morning Glory Inn Wedding.
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
David proposed when we took a trip to Niagara Falls for a weekend. We were on the SkyWheel- which is a huge ferris wheel that overlooks the falls. The passenger cars are fully enclosed and heated (thankfully, since it was very cold when we were there). David was acting super nervous and I thought it was because of the heights-which I teased him for. Shortly before the ride ended, he got down on one knee and proposed. I was completely surprised!
What was your inspiration behind your wedding day?
Romantic with a vintage feel. We toured so many venues, but didn’t get the feeling of what we were looking for until we saw the Morning Glory Inn. We loved the feel of both the indoor and outdoor spaces. It was exactly what we were going for- the lighted brick courtyard and the cocktail style reception sold us with the beautiful but also easy going vibes.
What was your favorite memory from your big day?
The day was such a whirlwind, I still can’t believe how fast it went by! My favorite memories were our first look and our cake cutting. We did our first look with just the two of us in the courtyard and it was so nice to have that moment together. We cut our beautiful cake with my late grandmother’s cake server-I loved having a touch of her there that day. One of my favorite songs was playing in the background- Paper Rings by Taylor Swift. It was such a fun moment of the day. David smashed the cake in my face a little more than I expected- but at least the cake tasted so good! It was a white almond cake with raspberry filling and buttercream icing -it was so delicious!! This was the only time I actually got to eat any of the cake!
