Cancun Destination Wedding

It is so very special when I get to work with people I know. It is an unbelievable honor when it’s someone I know like a sister. This past March, Jaime’s sister Tamara and her fiance tied the knot in Mexico! I will never ever forget this day — there was so much love and happiness for everyone. To have everyone in our family present for such a special time — these are the moments you should never take for granted. Congrats Tamara and Ryan!

What was your inspiration behind your Cancun Destination Wedding?

Our inspiration was timeless romance- which is telling of our 15 year long relationship. I wanted everything to feel classic and beautiful with a modern twist. It was straight out of a fairy tale.

Advice to share with brides planning now?

Don’t wait until the last minute for anything that you don’t have to!- especially buying outfits for your special events! Also, have someone not in the wedding party designated for the day of- whether its a coordinator or an organized friend- to handle any drama.

How did you and your spouse meet?

Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂

Ryan surprised me with our proposal and I actually knew it was happening when I walked into Monterrey Bay and Steve was snapping photos! Then he surprised me again with an engagement party of 60 of our closest friends and family at Coughin’s Law. I cried so many happy tears!

What was your favorite memory from your Cancun Destination Wedding?

There are so many… Seeing Ryan as I walked down the aisle… but also during our first dance Ryan surprised me with giant sparklers shooting up all around the dance floor. Every moment was magic and I’m so sad its over.
