When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
I will always have a soft spot for a wedding at Succop Conservancy — my VERY first wedding was there and each time I go back, I am reminded of why I love this venue! The space is all in one, wedding, cocktails and reception. Guests enjoy the most beautiful grounds and the bridal party all can get ready on site. You will be hard pressed to find such a gorgeous venue!
Brian and Leah hosted the most LOVELY wedding here last fall, I still think about the light to this day….
They share more below on their wedding vision and dreams:
What was your inspiration behind your Wedding at Succop Conservancy?
Simple elegance. We wanted our wedding day to be classic and timeless while embracing the natural beauty at Succop Nature Park. Ultimately, we wanted a celebration with our family and friends where everyone could feel the love and happiness.
Advice to share with brides planning now?
Breathe, enjoy the entire planning process, and soak in every moment of your wedding day. It’s a once in a lifetime occasion where all of your family and friends are present. The whole journey should be a fun experience with so many great memories to look back on.
How did you and your spouse meet?
Online! Not quite the dream situation, but how else do you do it these days?
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
We went to Brian’s parents for dinner one night, and the next thing I know, he’s pulling me into the middle of the backyard with a dozen roses in his hands, and then he got down on one knee. I said yes, and then saw my parents, siblings, and my yellow lab, Mollie, hiding around the corner. It was so sweet and special with the people that we love the most!
What was your favorite memory from your big day?
Groom: After the many months of COVID, it was awesome to see so many family and friends that we haven’t been able to see in so long. It was so nice to get everyone together and celebrate by putting on one hell of a party.
Bride: My heart was racing right before I walked down the aisle, but as soon as those doors opened, I felt so blessed. I had my dad next to me, my husband in front of me, my family and friends around me, and all of our awesome vendors doing their thing. That moment made everything worth it, and I will never forget that feeling as I walked down that aisle.
