I’ll never forget the weather report for Patrick and Allison’s summertime wedding at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Rain, rain and rain! The one thing you can’t change or predict is the weather — it just happens. Some couples get VERY worried about rain. I get it! Your wedding day is one of the times where perfect weather is ideal. There are things you can do to help though!
- Get excited anyways! Regardless of the weather, your wedding day is special and worth celebrating!
- Realize you can take photos that are gorgeous EVEN in the rain. I have a TON of clear umbrellas and lots of covered location ideas for you. We will make photo magic regardless!
Patrick and Allison had the very best attitude for their wedding at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden — they just wanted to be married and not once did the smiles leave their faces. It isa beautiful thing to witness people in love who realize what their day is actually about. I’m so grateful I get to document love like theirs!
My favorite moment of the day has to be the first dances, especially when Patrick dances with his mom. Allison and her dad watched them with such love and admiration — these are the moments that matter. The moments you’ll for sure share with your grand kids and future generations. These are the moments that make my job a joy. Congratulations you two!
