What was your inspiration behind your wedding day?

Elegant romantic winter wedding – We chose our wedding date to be the last weekend in November after Thanksgiving when all of our friends and family were in town. While fall wedding colors are beautiful we loved the idea of choosing a winter inspired wedding with the joy of the holiday spirit and romance.

Advice to share with brides planning now?

The process can be overwhelming but try to enjoy it, it does go fast! Accept help from family and friends. One of the best things we did was having a wedding planner – at least for the day of so you, your future spouse, and your family can truly be present on the big day!

How did you and your spouse meet?

We are high school sweethearts who crossed paths in the halls of our high school and immediately hit it off. We feel so blessed to have been with one another through so many of life’s big moments and accomplishments.

Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂

David was determined to make this a surprise, and he absolutely did! It was what felt like a casual summer weekend when he suggested we go to Saturday mass and a walk afterwards at Hartwood Acres. It was on our walk when he took me to a field of flowers and popped the question all while having a photographer secretly capture the moment! Both of our families were waiting at Narcissi winery to celebrate!

What was your favorite memory from your big day?

Our family and friends are so important to us and our biggest hope was to have the day feel intimate and fun – especially making sure everyone was out on the dance floor at the reception! That happened and even more than we thought! The dance floor was full from the first to the last song and we loved every minute being out there with our family and friends.
