When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
Law school is the perfect way to meet your significant other, just ask Lisle and Hattie! Their wedding is a reflection of their love for each other and those in their lives. They wanted to showcase classic wedding details in a timeless venue and selected the Montour Heights Country Club to have the party of the year! I’ll never forget their priest, he was so honest and genuine, definitely a real Pittsburgh treat! 🙂 Congrats you two, and I rest my case.
What was your inspiration behind your Montour Heights Country Club wedding day?
Classic weddings and the weddings of our family and friends who came before us.
Advice to share with brides planning now?
You don’t need to spend a fortune to make your day beautiful. Invest in things that matter, be thrifty with the things that don’t. I know it’s been said a million times, but the day is about what makes you and your spouse happy. If you agree about the things that matter and focus your efforts on those things, your day will be perfect.
How did you and your spouse meet?
We met in the most clichĂ© possible – the law school library. Lisle made a joke that made Hattie laugh so hard she cried. They hung out a few times outside of school and quickly realized they were meant to be.
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
Lisle created an Easter egg hunt filled with coupons of Hattie’s favorite things – a trip to McDonald’s, a walk to the local park, watching “Hitch,” etc. Lisle strategically placed one last egg with a coupon that read “redeem for one husband.” While Hattie read it, Lisle got down on one knee with an engagement ring in a gold egg.
What was your favorite memory from your Montour Heights Country Club wedding?
Hattie’s favorite part was exchanging vows in the church in front of all of our loved ones Lisle’s favorite memory was walking into the reception to a room filled with people we love
