Mansions on Fifth Wedding

I had closed by books for 2021 when Maggie of Bumble Burgh Events reached out to me about a very special wedding — her sisters! I was honored and SO excited to work with her to capture a very romantic and luxurious Mansions on Fifth Wedding. She did not disappoint and neither did May Chester’s floral design. It was all stunning!

The historic Mansions on Fifth is a very luxe and dramatic place to host a wedding, and can be challenging for some photographers. The walls are dark and the decor matches, but this was no big deal for this wedding! They leaned in to the feel of the space and created a romantic and timeless aesthetic for their guests. It turned out amazing!

Annie, the gorgeous bride shares more below on her inspiration and advice for planning a wedding:

What was your inspiration behind your Mansions on Fifth Wedding day? I always wanted a classic, timeless, black tie, cocktail-styled wedding. My parents were married one day before us 32 years prior, so I always admired their wedding and the romantic feel of a cold, November night! 

Advice to share with brides planning now? Get yourself a good planner who understands your vision and design! a sister is helpful too 😉

How did you and your spouse meet? A dating app! 

Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂 doing our favorite thing: snowboarding, at the bottom of the slopes on a new years trip in New York

What was your favorite memory from your big day? Dancing, hands down
