Intimate Lawrenceville Engagement Session
Olivia and Vincent are so precious. Capturing this Intimate Lawrenceville Engagement Session was a true delight! It’s always fun capturing a couple just as they are with no pretense. As I spent time with them, I felt like they truly let me me into their world.
Tip for couples planning an engagement session: don’t feel like you have to do something you wouldn’t normally do! Or even shoot somewhere you wouldn’t normally hang out. Think of your favorite places and things to do and incorporate them as much as you can in your session. It makes a world of difference and comes across as very authentic.
In the words of the Bride, Olivia:
Favorite Memory About Your Engagement-
For us, food and cooking is everything and our engagement shows that. Before getting down on one knee, Vincent surprised me by making big brunch featuring different food that is meaningful to us in our relationship. Chocolate waffles with lavender syrup, miso soup with a dashi and leek broth, and hand made pork sausage and egg. Then, he got down on one knee and I said yes before he even opened the ring box! My favorite memory from the engagement is the time and care he took making the breakfast.
Why Did You Choose Your Engagement Location?
Lawrenceville is a place steeped in deep history for the city of Pittsburgh. We decided to do our shoot in Lawrenceville because we love the neighborhood’s ever changing style and that gradient between old and new. With it’s amazing street art and architecture, we knew it would be a great place to shoot our photos!
