All the Details – McConnell’s Mills Hell’s Hollow Falls Engagement Session
Lila and Daniel are a super special couple to me! We attend church together and I’ve had the pleasure of watching them grow up (I even did both of their senior photo sessions!), start dating and get engaged! I am so honored and excited to capture their wedding memories in September. They were up for anything for their engagement session so I suggested Hell’s Hollow Falls! Love how they turned out.
From the bride-to-be, Lila:
My favorite memory was the actual proposal! The complete joy, love and surprise of it all! Seeing my best friend get down on one knee and ask me to spend the rest of my life side by side with him.
Daniel made the entire day very special for me! From going to our favorite breakfast shop to dinner and the ballet. The sweetest part was where he proposed- Phipps Conservatory. Phipps holds a lot of special memories and meaning to the two of us. Even though Santa Clause was in the room that Daniel wanted to ask me in, he found a bridge with a waterfall and made so special.
My favorite memory was her reaction to my asking her to marry me! She was crying! Another favorite moment was being able to eat and breathe normally afterwards because I was so nervous about her response… But it all worked out and we had the rest of the day to relax, go to a nice dinner, and see the ballet!
I chose Phipps conservatory because she and I love going there and it was one of our first dates. I thought it would be really special to be amongst the flowers when I proposed. It was special to me because she wasn’t expecting it. We found this little bridge with a stream and when I knelt down she started to cry. She had no idea and to have the proposal be a surprise was awesome.
