Full Glam Pennsylvanian Wedding

The longer I am in the wedding industry, the easier it is for me to see how important your photos are. Countless times I’ve had couples reach out after their day to share what photos are most meaningful. It is always surprising — the photos I tend to favorite are romantic portraits, and dramatic kiss at the altar dips. Yet the photos my clients share, love and frame are often different.

In this specific wedding, the bride invited me to her childhood home in an iconic Pittsburgh neighborhood. Her parents eagerly waited outside her bedroom to assist her with final zippering and arranging of her flowing white gown. As they stood in the hallway of their home, I knew they would love and value what was captured through my lens. As the bride greets a small flower girl on the staircase landing, I felt as if I was given an exclusive invitation into a moment so special and so private, it felt sacred.
