Fox Chapel Golf Club Wedding
There are certain venues that are aspirational as a Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer. Fox Chapel Golf Club is for sure one of them! After more than 10 years in the business, I finally got to work there this past year! And it was everything I imagined it would be and MORE. Taylor and Connor hosted the most perfect day — from the gorgeous church in Youngstown, Ohio to their Fox Chapel Golf Club wedding reception.

I truly cannot put into words how wonderful Steven Dray is as a person and a photographer!! He made our wedding day so enjoyable, fun and relaxed, our bridal party can’t stop talking about it! His work is outstanding— I can’t stop looking at our photos, they are timeless and STUNNING! He communicates with you throughout the entire wedding process and was always there to answer any phone calls/texts with any questions we had. If I could give him a million stars I would!! Highly, highly recommend!!!
What was your inspiration behind your Fox Chapel Golf Club Wedding?
We wanted our wedding to have a romantic & timeless feel. A lot of candles and a lot of flowers! Fox Chapel Golf Club itself is already stunning, we just wanted to add our own personal touch for a night we will never forget.
Advice to share with brides planning now?
Take the time to enjoy every moment! It may feel stressful at times, but it will all be worth it on your big day!
How did you and your spouse meet?
Connor and I met in high school. He asked me for help with his math homework one day and the rest was history! We’ve been together for 11 years and we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together making memories and building a life together 🙂
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
I absolutely love Christmas time, it is my favorite time of year. It was December 2021 and I was preparing for my optometric boards. Connor suggested we took the night off to go to dinner and see the Christmas lights/display at Gervasi Winery. I agreed, with no idea what he had in mind! He rented out a whole pavilion at the winery, which was beautifully decorated with lights and Christmas trees. He got down on one knee and popped the question!! I was so so shocked! After enjoying the moment together, we went back home to a surprise engagement party he planned with all our family. It was the most perfect night and I could not have asked for anything more!
What was your favorite memory from your big day?
My favorite memory from our big day was seeing Connor for the first time as I walked down the aisle. It was so special because it was the first time he saw me in my dress. I will never forget how I felt in that moment, knowing how lucky I am to be spending the rest of our lives together 🙂
