Family Farm Wedding: Sarah & Sam
Sara and Sam. Sam and Sara. These two were simply meant to be. Their family farm wedding suits them absolutely perfectly – a true reflection of them as a couple! I loved the earthy details and simple yet refined decor. Honestly, they were a dream to photograph throughout the whole day!
Here’s more from the beautiful and blushing bride, Sara:
What was your inspiration behind your wedding day?
We wanted it to feel relaxed and comfortable for our family and friends, but also incorporate the outdoor setting of Sam’s childhood home.
Advice to share with brides planning now?
Expect your guest list to grow and don’t sweat the small stuff.
How did you and your spouse meet?
We had an immediate connection when we met as members of a co-ed honors fraternity at the University of Pittsburgh. We have been together since then, which has been over six years.
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
We had looked at rings a few times together before the proposal, but Sam surprised me in our home after picking me up from a day of studying at law school. Then, we went for a celebratory dinner at Butcher and the Rye downtown. It was very intimate and personal – exactly what we wanted.
What was your favorite memory from your big day?
Our favorite memories were the first look before the ceremony when we had a moment alone and then celebrating on the dance floor with our friends and family.
