When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
It had been several years since I worked a Club at Nevillewood Wedding, and I am so here for it! I’ll never forget the first time I worked there, my wife was pregnant with our firstborn, and almost ready to pop! I felt extreme emotions that day. Happy to be doing a job I love, scared to be a dad for the first time, nervous I might miss the delivery and EXCITED for the couple (Brynne and Zack, still love you!!). Going back to The Club at Nevillewood, I felt all these emotions again. I am forever thankful to Lindsay and Matt for trusting me and allowing me to work in one of my all time favorite venues again.
I’ll never stop sharing how beneficial a first look can be! Although I know many couples want to keep the suspense and surprise by waiting to see each other at the church. There is definitely merit to that. But there is also a LOT to be said for sharing that moment privately (with me there to capture it, of course) before you say ‘I do!’ From a practical standpoint, it also gives you that much more time in your day to take bridal party, family and portraits of just the two of you, which then relaxes everything else after your ceremony! Food for thought. Lindsay and Matt enjoy an extra long portrait session because of their first look, and you can see some of their gorgeous pictures as can be seen below! Best wishes, you two lovers!
