When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
What was your inspiration behind your Classic Pittsburgh Wedding? Not really sure? We kind of winged it but we knew we wanted a more industrial venue in a place that highlighted the city of Pittsburgh and we knew we wanted fall colors. Once we decided on Heinz History Center, the vision for everything else fell into place pretty easily
Advice to share with brides planning now? Make a timeline and a checklist. Planning feels overwhelming but it really is a few of short bursts of work with long periods of waiting. Writing out the timeline of when everything needs to get done will make it less stressful as you will know exactly when everything needs to get done by. Anything that you think that you did not do was obviously not important to you and is not worth stressing about it. Once the week of your wedding finally arrives, trust that you did all the important work already and just enjoy the weekend with your partner,
How did you and your spouse meet? We both were in the engineering school at Pitt, two of our close friends were dating (who are also now married) and introduced us to each other at a party. We hit it off pretty fast and started dating within a month or so of meeting
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂 Rip and I went on a trip to Paris where he proposed at a small restaurant.
What was your favorite memory from your big day? It is hard to pick. Probably our ceremony (which I never would have guessed). I felt a lot of anxiety building up to it but once I saw Rip, everything was easy and it was a moment that I am very thankful I got to share with friends and family.
