Loved photographing a wedding at the Carnegie Museum!

From Andrea, the bride:
What was the inspiration for your Carnegie Museum Wedding? Is there anything that you did that you think makes your wedding particularly unique, alternative or different to the norm?
We had a few different inspirations… I always wanted an evening cocktail themed wedding and we wanted to incorporate some of Seves’ Spanish heritage. I think the most unique thing about our wedding is that we followed our own rules. We incorporated all the things that we as a couple enjoyed at other weddings we attended and left out the things we didn’t. It was truly a day planned for us. I think too many weddings are planned for the guests instead of the couple. We chose a Friday evening wedding on Labor Day weekend so our guests could spend the rest of the holiday weekend with us and exploring Pittsburgh.
Carnegie Museum Wedding Theme
How would you describe your wedding theme?
Our wedding theme would be best described as an evening cocktail party with Spanish flare.
Do you have any particularly significant, funny or important stories about something that happened surrounding your wedding?
I don’t think there is enough room in this article to list all of the funny stories surrounding our wedding… but to list a few..
I realized when we left the salon to head to the venue that I didn’t have my wedding gown. At the time, I did not find it at all humorous but we laugh about it now. We had a large wedding party of 20 of our best friends so there were a lot of awkward, hilarious and occasionally inappropriate moments/videos created. It was the time of our lives spending the best day ever surrounded by them.
Did you do any DIY projects?
No.. they scare me.
What was your favorite part of the wedding?
Our favorite part of the wedding was seeing everything come together exactly the way we had envisioned it and spending the entire night with our closest friends and family celebrating.
