When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
Talia and Brendan are a dream couple and their Allegheny Country Club wedding is a dream as well — you can see from their photos how loved and loving they and their families are! It is always my favorite to see these beautiful relationships and moments on a wedding day. Talia’s first look with her father is so touching, and what I can’t wait to have myself when my daughter gets married (a VERY VERY long time from now).
Enjoy their wedding preview below, it’s truly one for the books!
What was your inspiration behind your Allegheny Country Club wedding?
I wanted the day to be timeless and elegant, while also being whimsical and fun.
Advice to share with brides planning now?
Trust your gut. You have to make a million decisions as a bride planning a wedding, and it can be difficult to determine what you really want when there are so many opinions and other factors to take into consideration. Your first instinct is usually what is going to make you happiest!
How did you and your spouse meet?
We met through mutual family friends at Seven Springs when we were both in high school. We were friends for a few years before we eventually started dating in college.
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
We were in town for the weekend and Brendan told me he made plans for us to have dinner with his parents at Seven Springs. We were just a few minutes away from the restaurant when Brendan unexpectedly turned into the parking lot of the banquet hall we met at about a decade prior. We walked inside, and I saw a table with champagne and flowers and the ring box. After he proposed, we went to the restaurant where both of our families were waiting for us. It was sentimental and sweet and one of the happiest moments of our lives!
What was your favorite memory from your big day?
There are so many to choose from, but I think we both loved our entrance to our reception. It was so fun to run into the ballroom together hand in hand while our guests were crowded around the dance floor. We went right into our first dance, then our band played a few songs with everyone on the dance floor at once. There was so much fun, exciting energy and it was definitely one of our favorite memories from the day!
