Glam Pittsburgh Opera Wedding

I will never EVER forget this glam Pittsburgh Opera wedding. Long story short, I was in the ER the night before and was devastated that I could possibly not be there. A few hours and phone calls later, I was THRILLED to capture Dina walking down the aisle to meet a sweetly emotional Andrew. Special thanks to Jorge Santiago Photography and my second photographer Aaron Dray for being such a solid team by my side that day. Dina and Andrew are the most thoughtful and classy clients, their only concern was for ME and my health! When I showed up, they were just as excited as I was to be there. Thank you both for picking me, it was my honor to be a part of your glam Pittsburgh Opera wedding day!

How did you and your spouse meet?
Dina: Growing up in bordering towns, it took a chance encounter in the summer of 2017 for Dina and Andrew to meet (on Bumble!). The first date, at Eighth & Hays in Pittsburgh’s Homestead neighborhood, marked the beginning of their relationship.

Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂
Dina: One year after meeting, upon coming home from work, Dina found a birthday surprise, complete with a note from Andrew, instructing her to meet him at the place of their first date (Eighth & Hays). Dina arrived at the local wine bar to find Andrew anxiously waiting with the ring in hand! The newly engaged couple spent the rest of the weekend celebrating Dina’s birthday (and their big announcement!) with family and friends.

What was your inspiration behind your wedding day?
Dina: A chic, modern twist on the Art Deco style of the 1920’s

Advice to share with brides planning now?
Dina: Don’t sweat the small stuff, always remember the true meaning of your big day, and trust the professionals!

What was your favorite memory from your big day?
Andrew seeing Dina for the first time as she processed down the aisle, the couple’s private first look at the Pittsburgh Opera House (as designed by Dina herself!), every second spent on the dance floor with family and friends.
