Winter Carnegie Museum Wedding

My last wedding of 2022 – one for the books! Carly is a bride who knows what she likes and what she wants, her confidence is contagious!! She picked one of my all time favorite venues — The Carnegie Museum Music Hall. There are so many places to take GORGEOUS photos here — and the weather doesn’t matter at all! It could be raining, snowing, sleeting — really anything! The light is perfect, obviously I am a fan. This Winter Carnegie Museum Wedding is and was the perfect way to end my 2022 season! What was your inspiration behind your Winter Carnegie Museum Wedding?

Our reception was at the Carnegie Museum in the Music Hall Foyer so we wanted to match the aesthetic of the venue. We wanted our wedding to be romantic, elegant, and timeless.

Advice to share with brides planning now?

It’s really special to have all your friends and family surrounding you. Try to soak up every moment and enjoy the party! 

How did you and your spouse meet?

We met in college at a bar. Andrew went to Notre Dame and I went to Saint Mary’s across the street. A fun fact is that Andrew played football at ND and I was a ND cheerleader! 

Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂

We both knew we didn’t want a public proposal so Andrew proposed in our first apartment together. The next day we left for vacation and both our families were there to celebrate. 

What was your favorite memory from your big day?

Our favorite memory was our first dance. It was such a perfect moment and our guests cheering in the background helped ease our nerves!
