When I'm not photographing or with my family, I get lost in pop- impressionism oil paintings. Check out some of my work here.
This couple got engaged during COVID times and planned their wedding in less than a year. These are my people! They knew they wanted to be together and they made it happen. It doesn’t hurt that they hired a fabulous wedding planner to get everything just right for their vibrant Pittsburgh Botanic Garden wedding. I had a bit of a moment when I saw their wedding cake…just scroll to see for yourself. And while you’re at it, can we all pause for a moment in recognition of how adorable these two are? Congrats and Mazel to you both!!
What was your inspiration behind your vibrant Pittsburgh Botanic Garden wedding day? The venue was already so special to us since it was where we had our first date. I knew I wanted to focus on it being a garden wedding with the flowers being the wow factor with bright bold colors.
How did you and your spouse meet? We met at work in 2017.
Proposal Details! How did it happen? 🙂11.14.20 Three years after our first date. Michael had it all planned out. He was going to propose at my parents house after dinner that night. All afternoon I wasn’t feeling well and with Covid being everywhere and not knowing the above plan, I ended up canceling dinner that night. Michael of course did not miss a beat. He woke me up from a nap. As I walked downstairs he had a playlist of all our favorite songs playing and “Marry me?” letters on our dining room table surrounded by candles and rose petals. He got down on one knee and I of course said YES!
What was your favorite memory from your big day? My favorite memory from the day would definitely be marrying the love of my life and saying “I do.” As well as being able to celebrate with all of our family and friends after being apart for such a long time.
